AFU eliminates 470 occupiers, Russia's losses amount to about 68,000 people – General Staff

The total combat losses of the enemy from February 24 to October 24 approximately amounted to about 67,940 (+470) people (data for the last day in parentheses).

This follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, the AFU destroyed:

• tanks – 2,590 (+6),
• armored combat vehicles – 5,295 (+11),
• artillery systems – 1,673 (+6),
• MLRS - 375 (+1),
• air defense equipment - 189 (+0),
• planes - 270 (+0),
• helicopters - 245 (+0),
• UAV operational-tactical level – 1,370 (+9),
• cruise missiles - 350 (+0),
• ships - 16 (+0),
• automotive equipment and tank trucks – 4,044 (+5),
• special equipment - 149 (+1).

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian military eliminated 400 Russian soldiers in the past day. The total number of losses of the Russian army since the beginning of the invasion is 67,470 soldiers.

Also, the Ukrainian military has struck more than 20 areas of concentration of weapons, military equipment and manpower of the occupiers over the past day.
