Negative Balance Of Foreign Trade In Goods Worsens By USD 3,525.7 Million To USD 5,421.1 Million In 8M

In January-August 2022, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 5,421.1 million.

The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In January-August 2022, the negative balance of trade in goods worsened by USD 3,525.7 million year over year (negative balance in January-August 2021 was USD 1,895.4 million).

In January-August 2022, Ukraine exported goods for USD 28,945.7 million, down 30.8% year over year.

In January-August 2022, Ukraine imported goods for USD 34,366.8 million, down 21.4% year over year.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January-July 2022, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 4,208.5 million.

In 2021, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 4,727.5 million.

In 2020, the imports of goods exceeded exports by USD 4,878.4 million.
