On October 11, the Ministry of Finance placed war bonds worth UAH 11.8 million and USD 98.2 million.

This follows from a statement by the Ministry of Finance, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

The Ministry placed securities with a circulation period of 6 months for UAH 6.5 million at 12% per annum, a circulation period of 1 year for UAH 0.4 million at 14% per annum and a circulation period of 1.5 years for UAH 4.9 million at 16% per annum.

The securities denominated in dollars have a maturity of 6 months and a yield of 4.25% per annum.

On October 4, the Ministry of Finance placed war bonds for UAH 44.5 million, which is the smallest amount since the beginning of the war.

Before that, the smallest amount was raised on August 16 - UAH 71.5 million.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ministry of Finance previously announced that war bonds are primarily a tool for supporting the state budget during a full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, and not a tool for maximizing income from investment activities, therefore war bond rates remain fixed.

On March 22, 2022, the National Bank started publishing statistics of the NBU depository on war bonds on a weekly basis.
