Podoliak Criticizes Nobel Committee For Awarding Peace Prize To Russia And Belarus

Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the head of the Office of the President, has criticized the Nobel Committee for awarding the Nobel Peace Prize to Russia and Belarus.

He wrote about this on Twitter, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"The Nobel Committee clearly has an interesting understanding of the word "peace," if the Nobel Prize together is received by representatives of the two countries that attacked the third. Neither Russian nor Belarusian organizations were able to organize resistance to this war. Nobel this year is just "super," Podoliak said.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the laureates of the 2022 Nobel Peace Prize were the Ukrainian human rights organization Center for Civil Liberties, the Belarusian human rights activist Ales Bialiatski, and the Russian human rights organization Memorial.
