The President of the United States of America, Joseph Biden, warned Putin about more serious consequences if Russia uses nuclear weapons. The American leader said this in an interview with the CBS TV channel.
"Don't do it. Don't do it. Don't do it. It will change the face of war (in Ukraine - ed.) to something that hasn't happened since the Second World War," Biden emphasized.
"This will have consequences. They (Putin and his entourage - ed.) will become the biggest outcasts in the world than ever before. And depending on the scale of what they do, the answer will be determined," said the head of the White House.
However, Joe Biden did not specify the specific steps that the American side could take in response. However, the U.S. president noted that there will certainly be "consequences" for Russia.
