"Tomorrow, Ukrainian and international journalists will be in Izium. We want the world to know what is really happening and what the Russian occupation has led to. Bucha, Mariupol, now, unfortunately, Izium... Russia leaves death everywhere. And must be responsible for this. The world must hold Russia to real responsibility for this war. We will do everything for this. Eternal memory to all those whose lives were taken by the occupiers! Eternal glory to everyone who fights for Ukraine!" the President emphasized.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 9, the General Staff announced for the first time the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Kharkiv region.
On September 11, the Ministry of Defense of Russia recognized the escape of its military from Kharkiv region.
On September 14, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the de-occupied Izium of Kharkiv region, where the Ukrainian flag was raised after liberation from the Russian occupiers.
