On September 1, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 350 to 48,700 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 12 tanks, 11 artillery systems and 2 cruise missiles over past day.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
During the day, the enemy lost 12 tanks (total - 2,009), 21 armored fighting vehicles (total - 4,366), 11 artillery systems (total - 1,126), 2 units of rocket artillery (total - 289), 8 units of automobile equipment and tanker trucks (total - 3,247), 1 unit of special equipment (total - 105), 2 drones (total - 853) and 2 cruise missiles (total - 198).
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 234 aircraft, 205 helicopters, 153 anti-aircraft defenses and 15 ships/boats.
The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk and Kurakhivske directions.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of August 31, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 450 to 48,350 killed, equipment by 1 helicopter, 23 tanks and 24 artillery systems.
