46,000 people leave Ukraine on August 21

 

On August 21, more than 97,000 people and almost 19,000 vehicles crossed the western borders of Ukraine with the EU and Moldova.

This was reported in the Western regional office of the State Border Service.

46,000 people left Ukraine last day.

27,000 of them crossed the border with Poland, the rest went to other EU countries and Moldova.

51,000 people came to Ukraine over the past day, 47,000 of them are citizens of Ukraine.

Also, 60 trucks with humanitarian aid were issued per day.

As of 9 a.m., August 22, queues at the borders with neighboring countries, for departure from Ukraine, were recorded at the following checkpoints:

The Republic of Poland:

Ustyluh - 70 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrians are not allowed to pass).

Uhryniv - 150 passenger cars, 2 buses, 0 pedestrians (pedestrians are only allowed to exit for the purpose of evacuation).

Rava-Ruska - 70 passenger cars, 8 buses, 0 pedestrians (pedestrians are allowed to exit only for the purpose of evacuation).

Hrushiv - 40 passenger cars, 0 buses, 0 pedestrians (pedestrians are only allowed to exit for the purpose of evacuation).

Krakow - 120 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrians are not allowed to pass).

Shehyni - 20 passenger cars, 0 buses, 90 pedestrians (pedestrians can pass in both directions).

Hungary:

Tysa - 10 passenger cars, 0 buses (pedestrians are not allowed to pass).

Fork - 15 passenger cars, 0 pedestrians.

As reported by Ukrainian News Agency, the government decided to allow one category of men to go abroad.
