The enemy tried to carry out combat reconnaissance in the areas of the settlements of Ivano-Dariyivka, Vesele, Yakovlivka, and Bakhmut in the Bakhmut direction, reconnaissance groups were also neutralized in the areas of Velyka Novosilka and Vremivka in Donetsk region. The Ukrainian military inflicted fire damage on the occupiers and forced them to flee.
That follows from a statement by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Thus, it is reported that the situation in the Volyn and Polisskyi directions has not undergone significant changes. Units of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continue to carry out the tasks of strengthening the protection of the section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border in the Brest and Gomel regions.
The threat of enemy missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of Belarus remains.
On the Siverskyi direction, the enemy continues to hold separate units of the troops of the Western Military District in the border areas of the Bryansk and Kursk oblasts. They conduct demonstration actions with the aim of restraining the maneuver of units of our troops and preventing their transfer to other directions.
The enemy shelled the positions of the AFU with barrel and rocket artillery in the areas of the villages of Katerynivka, Seredyna-Buda, and Mezenivka in Sumy region. It also conducted aerial reconnaissance near Hai and Shalyhin.
In the Slobozhanskyi direction, the enemy is conducting combat operations with the aim of holding previously occupied lines and preventing the offensive of Ukrainian soldiers, the enemy is trying to detect the construction of the defense system of our troops.
In the Kharkiv direction, the occupiers fired from tanks, barrel, and jet artillery in the areas of the settlements of Sosnivka, Duvanka, Prudianka, Dementiyivka, Ruska Lozova, Cherkaski Tyshky, Petrivka, Bairak, Staryi Saltiv, Bazaliyivka, Korob, and Chepil, and also carried out an airstrike near Verkhnii Saltiv.
In the Sloviyansk direction, Russian troops fired artillery at the districts of Brazhkivka, Karnaukhivka, Sulyhivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Protopopivka, Adamivka, Zalyman, Mazanivka, and Dolyna.
In the Donetsk direction, with the support of operational-tactical and army aviation, the occupiers are conducting offensive battles in the Bakhmut and Avdiyivka directions, trying to dislodge our units from the occupied lines with artillery fire.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired at Hryhorivka, Siversk, Verkhniokamiyanske, and Ivano-Dariyivka.
Enemy artillery fire was recorded in the direction of Bakhmut towards Soledar, Kodema, Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, and Vershyna. At the latter, as well as at Zaitsev, Bakhmut, Yakovlivka, and Spirne, the enemy used aviation.

Russian troops fought offensive battles near Krasnohorivka and Avdiyivka, were unsuccessful and withdrew their forces.
On the Novopavlovsk and Zaporizhzhia directions, the areas of Volodymyrivka, Pavlivka, Orikhiv, Shevchenko, Huliaipole, Novodanylivka, Stepnohirsk, Olhivske, Kamiyanske, and Novosilka settlements were shelled. Airstrikes were recorded near Velyka Novosilka, Shcherbaky, and Novosilka.
The enemy is conducting a defensive operation in the Pivdennyi Buh direction. The enemy actively uses army aviation. In order to restrain our troops, it carried out artillery shelling in the areas of the settlements of Prybuzke, Posad-Pokrovske, Lupareve, Ukrainka, Promin, Myrne, Blahodatne, Novorosiiske, Shyroke, Partyzanske, Plotnytske, Bilohirka, Osokorivka, and Kniazhivka, and also carried out airstrikes near Bila Krynytsia, Andriyivka, Osokorivka, and Olhyne.
The occupiers carried out UAV aerial reconnaissance in the areas of Bilohirka, Murakhivka, Novooleksandrivka, Shevchenkivske, and Mykolayivka.
In the waters of the Black Sea, there are two sea-based Kalibr cruise missile carriers in readiness for the use of high-precision weapons.
As reported by Ukrainian News Agency, the General Staff previously stated that the Ukrainian military is ready for any changes at the front.
We also reported that units of the AFU are preventing the Russians from advancing west of Donetsk.
