On August 7, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 140 to 42,340 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 1 helicopter and 6 tanks over the past day.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
During the day, the enemy lost 1 helicopter (total - 192), 6 tanks (total - 1,811), 15 armored combat vehicles (total - 4,070), 2 artillery systems (total - 960), 1 unit of rocket artillery (total - 261), 15 units of automobile equipment and tankers (total - 2,993) and 4 drones (total - 754).
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 223 aircraft, 132 anti-aircraft defenses, 86 units of special equipment, 182 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.
The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk direction.
