On July 31, losses of personnel of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 41,030 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 5 tanks and 16 artillery systems.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
During the day, the enemy lost 5 tanks (total - 1,768), 7 armored fighting vehicles (total - 4,011), 16 artillery systems (total - 932), 10 units of automobile equipment and tank trucks (total - 2,912), 2 units of special equipment (total - 82) and 1 drone (total - 736).
Since the start of the war, the enemy has also lost 223 aircraft, 190 helicopters, 259 jet artillery units, 117 anti-aircraft defenses, 174 cruise missiles and 15 ships/boats.
The enemy suffered the greatest losses in the Donetsk and Kryvyi Rih directions.
