The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine asks Ukrainian citizens to refrain from visiting the southern regions of Serbia.
The spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Oleh Nikolenko announced this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We are monitoring the situation in southern Serbia. Parties should refrain from actions that can provoke violence. We strongly recommend that citizens of Ukraine currently refrain from visiting the southern regions of Serbia and avoid crowded places," he said.
Nikolenko stressed that on the instructions of Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, on the basis of the Ukrainian Embassy in Serbia, an operational headquarters was created and a 24-hour hotline was opened to help Ukrainians: +381631113185.

"In case of further aggravation of the security situation and blocking of roads in southern Serbia, we recommend that Ukrainians use checkpoints on the border with the Republic of North Macedonia," the statement said.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic said that Kosovo plans to attack Serbia, the Serbian army was put to full combat readiness.
