Ukraine Receives Another Part Of Grant Worth EUR 504 Million From World Bank Trust Fund

Ukraine has received another part of the grant for EUR 504 million from the World Bank Trust Fund.

The Ministry of Finance has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Ukraine received another part of grant funds in the amount of EUR 504 million.

The funds were provided from the World Bank Donor Trust Fund under the Second Loan Program for Development Policy in the area of ​​economic recovery of Ukraine.

As part of this tranche, the State Budget received grant funds from the United States (USD 500 million) and Great Britain (GBP 24 million).

These funds will be used to provide priority social, humanitarian, health care and support for internally displaced persons.

As Ukrainian News Agency reported, the Trust Fund was established by the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the International Development Association, contributions to which have already been received from Denmark, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Great Britain, Norway, Austria and the United States of America.

Earlier, the Office of the President reported that in the second quarter of 2022, a significant underperformance of the state budget is predicted and a temporary reduction in social spending is admitted from May.
