Russian Personnel Losses On May 16 Up 200 To 27,900 Killed, Equipment By 7 Tanks, 2 Helicopters And 1 Aircraft

On May 16, the personnel losses of the Russian troops increased by 200 to 27,900 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 7 tanks, 2 helicopters and 1 aircraft.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces announced this in a statement posted on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The enemy lost 2 helicopters per day (total - 167), 1 aircraft (total - 201), 7 tanks (total - 1,235), 35 armored personnel carriers (total - 3,009), 1 artillery system (total - 578), 3 MLRS units (total - 198), 1 air defense system (total - 90), 8 vehicles and fuel tanks (total - 2,109), 1 unit of special equipment (total - 43) and 9 drones (total - 436).

Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 97 cruise missiles and 13 ships/boats.

The greatest losses of the enemy over the past day were observed in the Lyman and Zaporizhzhia directions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 15, losses of personnel of Russian troops increased by 300 to 27,700 killed, equipment - by 8 tanks and 1 helicopter.
