Ukrainian servicemen on Saturday, May 7, repelled 9 enemy attacks and shot down an enemy helicopter in the Donbas.
This is stated in the message of the headquarters of the Joint Forces Operation (JFO) on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"During the current day, May 7, the servicemen of the Joint Forces group successfully repelled 9 enemy attacks," it says.
Also, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 19 tanks, 20 units of combat armored vehicles, 4 special armored vehicles, one unit of special engineering equipment and 6 enemy vehicles. Air defense units shot down one enemy Mi-28N attack helicopter and 6 Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicles.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 6, the Ukrainian military repelled 8 enemy attacks in the Donbas.
