About 1,000 legal entities and individuals on April 27 received UAH 3.3 billion from the repayment of the first issue of war bonds.
This is stated in the message of the NBU, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Some of these funds are re-invested in new war OVDPs to further support Ukraine.
Since the beginning of Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the Ministry of Finance has held 23 auctions for the sale of war bonds and attracted almost UAH 50 billion, USD 93.8 million and EUR 176.5 million to the state budget.
The largest portfolio of war OVDPs is concentrated among banks - primary dealers.
At the same time, last week another 2,700 citizens and business representatives joined the purchase of war OVDPs, so the number of depositors among them increased to 11,800.
Given the April repayment of war OVDPs, the volume of investments of Ukrainian citizens and businesses in the relevant securities as of May 2, 2022 is about UAH 3.5 billion, USD 38.3 million and EUR 25.4 million, and non-residents - more than UAH 66 million.
The National Bank continues to call on Ukrainians and the international community to strengthen the financial front of Ukraine by buying war OVDPs.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Bank on March 22, 2022 began publishing statistics from the NBU depository on war bonds on a weekly basis.
