Losses of personnel of Russian troops since the beginning of the invasion have amounted to approximately 20,300 killed, and the Ukrainian military also destroyed 773 enemy tanks, 165 aircraft and 146 helicopters.
This is stated in the message of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In addition, the enemy lost 2,002 armored fighting vehicles, 1,471 units of automotive equipment, 148 drones.
Since the beginning of the war, the enemy has also lost 376 artillery systems, 127 units of rocket artillery, 66 air defense equipment, 8 ships/boats, 4 launchers, 76 tanks with fuel and lubricants.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the military leadership of Russia is trying to replenish the losses of officers at the expense of officers of higher military educational institutions.
Meanwhile, the Russian Federation is preparing for an offensive operation in the east of Ukraine. The head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, believes that the battle for the Donbas will determine the further course of the war.
