Russians Forcibly Taking People From Izium To Russia

In Kharkiv region, the Russian invaders, in cooperation with local collaborators, organized the forced deportation of more than 50 citizens from the city of Izium.

The head of the Department of Youth, Sports and Image Projects of the Izium City Council Maksym Strelnyk announced this on Facebook.

According to Strelnyk, people refused to voluntarily leave even with complete information isolation and misinformation from the invaders about the "fall" of Kyiv and Kharkiv.

Buses with people crossed the border at the Chuhunivka checkpoint and moved in an unknown direction.

Relatives of citizens who have become victims of cases of forcible deportation from Izium to the Russian Federation are asked to immediately report this to the police. Those who get in touch are advised to avoid contact with armed people, not to provide personal information about themselves or their family members, not to sign any documents and not give anyone their passports.

According to Strelnyk, evidence has long been received from occupied Izium that Russian invaders, together with local collaborators, misinform people who are in complete information isolation. They disseminated a variety of false data about the situation in the country and the city, including the "surrender" of Izium.

Local residents were offered to leave for Russia on their own, but the vast majority of residents refused to go even despite the constant threat of shelling.

"Undoubtedly, this is a crime against humanity, and all its organizers and performers should be punished more severely, according to wartime laws," the official is convinced.
