The number of killed children has increased by 2 to 200, wounded - by 5 to 360 since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine.
The Prosecutor General’s Office has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the data received by juvenile prosecutors, children suffered the most in Donetsk region - 117, in Kyiv region - 105, in Kharkiv region - 88, in Chernihiv region - 54, in Kherson region - 41, in Mykolaiv region - 40, in Luhansk region - 36, in Zaporizhzhia region - 23, in the capital - 16, in Sumy region - 16, in Zhytomyr region - 15.
It is indicated that on April 15, Russian servicemen fired at one of the districts of Kharkiv.
As a result of the shelling, 5 children were injured, 2 of whom died, among them a 7-month-old baby.
Due to the massive bombing and shelling of Ukrainian cities and villages by the Russian Armed Forces, 1,018 educational institutions were damaged, of which 95 were completely destroyed.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on April 15, the number of killed children increased by 1 to 198, wounded - by 4 to 355.
