The number of children killed since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine has risen by 3 to 148 and those injured by 10 to 232.
The Prosecutor General's Office (PGO) has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the data, the highest number of children became victims in the regions of Kyiv - 69, Donetsk - 57, Kharkiv - 53, Chernihiv - 41, Mykolayiv - 30, Luhansk - 30, Zaporizhzhia - 22, Kherson - 27, Sumy - 16, Zhytomyr – 15, and in the capital - 16.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, on March 19, the invaders illegally took 2,389 children to Russia from the temporarily occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
