Law Enforcement Committee Offers Rada Introduce Criminal Liability For Photographing Positions Of Armed Forces

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on Law Enforcement Affairs has recommended that Parliament introduce criminal liability of up to seven years for the illegal use of humanitarian aid and up to 12 years for photographing the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Andrii Osadchuk (Holos), First Deputy Chairman of the Committee, announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"Today, the Committee... finally decided on a number of critical issues. From the socially important we approved: the introduction of criminal liability for the illegal use of humanitarian aid, charitable donations or gratuitous aid," the MP wrote.

According to the first recommended initiative, it is proposed to introduce criminal liability for the illegal use of humanitarian aid, charitable donations or gratuitous aid.

The sale of such goods (items) with a total value of UAH 620,000 or their other use for profit is a crime in wartime and will be punished by imprisonment from five to seven years.

According to the second, criminal liability is introduced for unauthorized dissemination of information about the direction, movement of international military assistance to Ukraine and across the territory of Ukraine, movement, relocation or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine or other military formations of Ukraine, committed in a state of martial law or a state of emergency.

In wartime, for the dissemination of such information from five to eight years in prison is provided, and for an organized group for mercenary purposes - from eight to twelve years in prison.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Security Service of Ukraine detained a tik-toker who posted a photo of the Armed Forces of Ukraine equipment in Kyiv.
