The sowing campaign has begun in Ukraine.
The Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the statement, agrarians of Odesa region began sowing spring crops, as of March 22, 30,000 hectares of spring barley were sown out of 750,000 planned.
In Mykolaiv region, they continue feeding winter crops and start sowing peas.
In Mykolaiv region, farmers are provided with seeds by 70%, agricultural producers in Odesa region are provided with seeds by almost 80%, plant protection products and fuel - by 62% and 46%, respectively.
It is noted that the farmers of Odesa region have sown 983,000 hectares with winter crops in autumn and have already carried out spring feeding of plants on almost 80% of the land.
Last year, farmers in Odesa region harvested a record grain crop of 5.2 million tons.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers allowed the circulation of gasoline and diesel fuel of Euro-3 and Euro-4 classes during martial law.
The Verkhovna Rada abolished the excise tax on fuel and reduced the rate of value added tax (VAT) on its supplies and imports from 20% to 7%.
The Cabinet of Ministers decided to impose a ban on the export of fertilizers from Ukraine.
