Russian Soldier Surrenders Along With Tank - Adviser To Interior Minister Andrusiv

A Russian soldier surrendered along with the tank.

Adviser to the Minister of Interior Affairs Viktor Andrusiv wrote about this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"A Russian soldier handed over a tank to us for a reward!" he wrote.

Andrusiv noted that for several weeks now the National Police have been identifying phones used by Russians.

He noted that these are Ukrainian numbers.

“We regularly send SMS to these phones on how to surrender and hand over equipment. A few days ago, we got a call from “Misha”. We transferred information about him to the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense. He was given a place where to go. He drove up. With the help of a drone, they made sure that he was himself, and this was not an ambush. After that, the special forces detained him. It turned out that he was the only one left of the tank crew, the rest fled home," Andrusiv writes.

According to him, the soldier did not see the point in fighting, but he could not return home either, because the commander said that he would shoot and write him off for combat losses.

“Misha said that there is practically no food left, command and control of the troops is chaotic and practically absent. The demoralization is colossal. What about Misha? Misha received very comfortable conditions of detention. He will also receive USD 10,000 after the end of the war and the opportunity to apply for citizenship. Until the end of the war he will live in comfortable conditions with a TV, telephone, kitchen and shower. So the Russians surrender. Also with equipment," Andrusiv added.
