Russia mobilizes debtors and offers them exemption from loan obligations in case of signing a contract with the Russian army.
The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Given the total lack of replenishment of the army's combat reserve, the occupiers are resorting to new forms of covert "mobilization." Due to the unwillingness of the reservists to return to the ranks of the army and the massive refusal to sign contracts, the Russian prosecutor's office is purposefully looking for people who have problems with paying loans, paying alimony and other debts," the statement said.
At the same time, it is noted that the number of such people is increasing in progression, given the consequences for the Russian economy from the imposed sanctions.
Accordingly, debtors are offered exemption from all loan obligations in case of signing a contract with the Russian army.
In particular, such proposals began to spread on the territory of Tatarstan, in Pyatigorsk, Rostov-on-Don and the North Caucasus.
The "recruiting" of people who have problems with the law also continues.
Criminals are offered a full amnesty in exchange for participation in hostilities in Ukraine.
As Ukrainian News Agency reported, the Russian occupiers have raised the age limit for those mobilized from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions from 55 to 65 years.
