Ukraine starts making payments in the amount of UAH 6,500 for each forced migrant employed.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this in a video address on Monday, March 21, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We are starting a program of employment for all IDPs. To do this, the state is starting to pay those employers who hire IDPs from the affected regions. UAH 6,500 for each employed person. Employers will spend these funds on remuneration of such workers," the Prime Minister noted.
Shmyhal appealed to entrepreneurs with a request to start working and employ migrants.
The Prime Minister also noted that the state supports entrepreneurs where possible.
Ukraine has already carried out a complete deregulation of business, simplification of the tax system, and a program of affordable loans.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukraine will pay each IDP a minimum monthly allowance in the amount of UAH 2,000.
