On February 14, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 29,724 over February 13 to 4,572,417, and the number of deaths increased by 305 over February 13 to 103,255; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 74.9%, and the number of new deaths increased 2.1 times.
The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of February 15, a total of 4,572,417 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 103,255 deaths; 3,811,630 had recovered.
On February 14, a total of 29,724 new disease cases were recorded, 305 people died, and 23,235 people recovered.
Therefore, as of February 14, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those recovered (29,724 vs 23,235).
At the same time, on February 14, a total of 1,889 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 16.8% over February 13.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 13, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 16,993 over February 12 to 4,542,693, and the number of deaths increased by 142 over February 12 to 102,950; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 30.7%, and the number of new deaths increased by 1.4%.
On February 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 24,518 over February 11 to 4,525,700, and the number of deaths increased by 140 over February 11 to 102,808; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 35.8%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 47.2%.
