On February 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 23,378 over February 5 to 4,307,437, and the number of deaths increased by 115 over February 5 to 101,392; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 16%, and the number of new deaths increased by 5.5%.
The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of February 7, a total of 4,307,437 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 101,392 deaths; 3,681,092 had recovered.
On February 6, a total of 23,378 new disease cases were recorded, 115 people died, and 5,024 people recovered.
Therefore, as of February 6, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those recovered (23,378 vs 5,024).
At the same time, on February 6, a total of 2,699 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 36% over February 5.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 27,851 over February 4 to 4,284,059, and the number of deaths increased by 109 over February 4 to 101,277; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 34.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 41%.
On February 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 42,533 over February 3 to 4,256,208, and the number of deaths increased by 185 over February 3 to 101,168; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 2.8%, and the number of new deaths increased by 6.3%.
