On February 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 43,778 over February 2 to 4,213,675, and the number of deaths increased by 174 over February 2 to 100,983; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 10.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 17.1%.
The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of February 4, a total of 4,213,675 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 100,983 deaths; 3,660,351 had recovered.
On February 3, a total of 43,778 new disease cases were recorded, 174 people died, and 9,497 people recovered.
Therefore, as of February 3, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those recovered (43,778 vs 9,497).
At the same time, on February 3, a total of 4,328 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 4.6% over February 2.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 39,620 over February 1 to 4,169,897, and the number of deaths increased by 210 over February 1 to 100,809; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 13.2%, and the number of new deaths increased by 2.9%.
On February 1, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 35,014 over January 31 to 4,130,277, and the number of deaths increased by 204 over January 31 to 100,599; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 13.8%, and the number of new deaths increased by 6.3%.
