On January 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 34,408 over January 26 to 3,980,610, and the number of deaths increased by 144 over January 26 to 99,882; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 6.2%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 6.5%.
The Health Ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of January 28, a total of 3,980,610 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 99,882 deaths; 3,608,094 had recovered.
On January 27, a total of 34,408 new disease cases were recorded, 144 people died, and 6,142 people recovered.
Therefore, as of January 27, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (34,408 vs 6,142).
At the same time, on January 27, a total of 3,342 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 10.8% over January 26.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 32,393 over January 25 to 3,946,202, and the number of deaths increased by 154 over January 25 to 99,738; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 33.2%, and the number of new deaths increased by 9.2%.
On January 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 24,321 over January 24 to 3,913,809, and the number of deaths increased by 141 over January 24 to 99,584; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 27.2%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 12.4%.
