On January 13, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 10,476 over January 12 to 3,737,510, and the number of deaths increased by 140 over January 12 to 98,068; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 4.3%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 26.7%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of January 14, a total of 3,737,510 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 98,068 deaths; 3,545,111 had recovered.
On January 13, a total of 10,476 new disease cases were recorded, 140 people died, and 7,285 people recovered.
Therefore, as of January 13, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (10,476 vs 7,285).
At the same time, on January 13, a total of 1,656 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 1.2% over January 12.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on January 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 10,046 over January 11 to 3,727,034, and the number of deaths increased by 191 over January 11 to 97,928; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 41.1%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 1%.
On January 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,117 over January 10 to 3,716,988, and the number of deaths increased by 193 over January 10 to 97,737; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 31%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 11.9%.
