Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 18.5% To 7,029, Number Of Deaths Down 25% To 209 On December 30

On December 30, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,029 over December 29 to 3,667,649, and the number of deaths increased by 209 over December 29 to 95,899; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 18.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 25%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of December 31, a total of 3,667,649 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 95,899 deaths; 3,468,858 had recovered.

On December 30, a total of 7,029 new disease cases were recorded, 209 people died, and 8,609 people recovered.

Therefore, as of December 30, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (7,029 vs 8,609).

At the same time, on December 30, a total of 1,578 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 9.7% over December 29.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,930 over December 28 to 3,660,620, and the number of deaths increased by 278 over December 28 to 95,690; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 8.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 9.4%.

On December 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,454 over December 27 to 3,654,690, and the number of deaths increased by 307 over December 27 to 95,412; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.4 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.3 times.
