On December 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,930 over December 28 to 3,660,620, and the number of deaths increased by 278 over December 28 to 95,690; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 8.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 9.4%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 30, a total of 3,660,620 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 95,690 deaths; 3,460,249 had recovered.
On December 29, a total of 5,930 new disease cases were recorded, 278 people died, and 10,369 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 29, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (5,930 vs 10,369).
At the same time, on December 29, a total of 1,747 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 51.5% over December 28.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,454 over December 27 to 3,654,690, and the number of deaths increased by 307 over December 27 to 95,412; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.4 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.3 times.
On December 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,248 over December 26 to 3,649,236, and the number of deaths increased by 134 over December 26 to 95,105; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 20.6%, and the number of new deaths increased by 0.8%.
