On December 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,248 over December 26 to 3,649,236, and the number of deaths increased by 134 over December 26 to 95,105; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 20.6%, and the number of new deaths increased by 0.8%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 28, a total of 3,649,236 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 95,105 deaths; 3,437,528 had recovered.
On December 27, a total of 2,248 new disease cases were recorded, 134 people died, and 4,789 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 27, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (2,248 vs 4,789).
At the same time, on December 27, a total of 944 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 10.3% over December 26.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 1,864 over December 25 to 3,646,988, and the number of deaths increased by 133 over December 25 to 94,971; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 33.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 3.6%.
On December 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,810 over December 24 to 3,645,124, and the number of deaths increased by 138 over December 24 to 94,838; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 46.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 48.5%.
