Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 14.9% To 7,312, Number Of Deaths Down 8.6% To 275 On December 22

On December 22, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,312 over December 21 to 3,630,391, and the number of deaths increased by 275 over December 21 to 94,184; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 14.9%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 8.6%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of December 23, a total of 3,630,391 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 94,184 deaths; 3,393,420 had recovered.

On December 22, a total of 7,312 new disease cases were recorded, 275 people died, and 16,521 people recovered.

Therefore, as of December 22, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (7,312 vs 16,521).

At the same time, on December 22, a total of 1,691 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 24.5% over December 21.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 21, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,363 over December 20 to 3,623,079, and the number of deaths increased by 301 over December 20 to 93,909; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 5.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 13%.

On December 20, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,029 over December 19 to 3,616,716, and the number of deaths increased by 346 over December 19 to 93,608; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.4 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.2 times.
