On December 21, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,363 over December 20 to 3,623,079, and the number of deaths increased by 301 over December 20 to 93,909; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 5.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 13%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 22, a total of 3,623,079 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 93,909 deaths; 3,376,899 had recovered.
On December 21, a total of 6,363 new disease cases were recorded, 301 people died, and 19,494 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 21, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (6,363 vs 19,494).
At the same time, on December 21, a total of 2,241 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 2.1 times over December 20.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 20, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,029 over December 19 to 3,616,716, and the number of deaths increased by 346 over December 19 to 93,608; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.4 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.2 times.
On December 19, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 2,536 over December 18 to 3,610,687, and the number of deaths increased by 157 over December 18 to 93,262; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 29.6%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 10.8%.
