On December 13, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,283 over December 12 to 3,570,448, and the number of deaths increased by 387 over December 12 to 91,602; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 78.8%, and the number of new deaths rose twice.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 13, a total of 3,570,448 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 91,602 deaths; 3,233,009 had recovered.
On December 13, a total of 7,283 new disease cases were recorded, 387 people died, and 27,130 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 13, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (7,283 vs 27,130).
At the same time, on December 13, a total of 1,123 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 22.9% over December 12.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 12, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 4,073 over December 11 to 3,563,165, and the number of deaths increased by 188 over December 11 to 91,215; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 22.8%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 21%.
On December 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 5,275 over December 10 to 3,559,092, and the number of deaths increased by 238 over December 10 to 91,027; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 47.9%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 46.6%.
