On December 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,327 over December 8 to 3,543,684, and the number of deaths increased by 442 over December 8 to 90,343; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 8.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 5%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 9, a total of 3,543,684 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 90,343 deaths; 3,158,426 had recovered.
On December 9, a total of 11,327 new disease cases were recorded, 442 people died, and 24,456 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 9, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (11,327 vs 24,456).
At the same time, on December 9, a total of 2,551 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 4.1% over December 8.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 12,376 over December 7 to 3,532,357, and the number of deaths increased by 465 over December 7 to 89,901; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 32.1%, and the number of new deaths increased by 3.3%.
On December 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 9,371 over December 6 to 3,519,981, and the number of deaths increased by 450 over December 6 to 89,436; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 8.3%, and the number of new deaths increased by 3.6%.
