On December 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 12,376 over December 7 to 3,532,357, and the number of deaths increased by 465 over December 7 to 89,901; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 32.1%, and the number of new deaths increased by 3.3%.
This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the report, as of the morning of December 9, a total of 3,532,357 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 89,901 deaths; 3,133,970 had recovered.
On December 8, a total of 12,376 new disease cases were recorded, 465 people died, and 24,547 people recovered.
Therefore, as of December 8, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (12,376 vs 24,547).
At the same time, on December 8, a total of 2,449 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 18.3% over December 7.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 9,371 over December 6 to 3,519,981, and the number of deaths increased by 450 over December 6 to 89,436; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 8.3%, and the number of new deaths increased by 3.6%.
On December 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,655 over December 5 to 3,510,610, and the number of deaths increased by 467 over December 5 to 88,986; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 93.3%, and the number of new deaths increased by 95.4%.
