Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 1.8% To 13,777, Number Of Deaths Down 3% To 509 On December 2

On December 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,777 over December 1 to 3,477,649, and the number of deaths increased by 509 over December 1 to 87,566; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 1.8%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 3%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of December 3, a total of 3,477,649 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 87,566 deaths; 3,018,620 had recovered.

On December 2, a total of 13,777 new disease cases were recorded, 509 people died, and 22,893 people recovered.

Therefore, as of December 2, the number of newly infected people was lower than that of those who recovered (13,777 vs 22,839).

At the same time, on December 2, a total of 2,992 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 0.4% over December 1.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on December 1, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,531 over November 30 to 3,463,872, and the number of deaths increased by 525 over November 30 to 87,057; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 13.1%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 5.7%.

On November 30, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,960 over November 29 to 3,450,341, and the number of deaths increased by 557 over November 29 to 86,532; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 13.3%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 0.7%.
