NBU's Net International Reserves Up 5% To USD 20.1 Billion In October

In October 2021, the net international reserves of the National Bank of Ukraine rose by 5% from USD 19.095 billion month over month to USD 20.054 billion.

The NBU has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Since the start of the year, they have grown by 10.7% from USD 18.144 billion, and in 2020, the net international reserves rose by 14.5% from USD 15.785 billion.

In October, official reserve assets of the central bank rose by 3.3% from USD 28.706 billion to USD 29.651 billion, since the start of the year, they have grown by 1.8% from USD 29.133 billion, and in 2020, they grew by 15.1% from USD 25.302 billion.

At the same time, the gross reserve obligations in October fell by 0.1% to USD 9.598 billion, in 2020, they grew by 16.2% from USD 9.518 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in 2019, the net reserves rose by 63.8% from USD 9.644 billion.

In 2018, the net reserves rose by 44.6% from USD 6.672 billion.
