Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 22.6% To 23,283, Number Of Deaths Down 2% To 816 On November 9

On November 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 23,283 over November 8 to 3,130,772, and the number of deaths increased by 816 over November 8 to 74,206; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 22.6%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 2%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of November 9, a total of 3,130,772 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 74,206 deaths; 2,553,842 had recovered.

On November 9, a total of 23,283 new disease cases were recorded, 816 people died, and 16,277 people recovered.

Therefore, as of November 9, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (23,283 vs 16,277).

At the same time, on November 9, a total of 5,696 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 1.9 times over November 8.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 18,988 over November 7 to 3,107,489, and the number of deaths increased by 833 over November 7 to 73,390; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 45.3%, and the number of new deaths increased by 76.1%.

On November 7, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,068 over November 6 to 3,088,501, and the number of deaths increased by 473 over November 6 to 72,557; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 24.9%, and the number of new deaths increased by 5.3%.
