Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 20.2% To 23,393, Number Of Deaths Up 2.9% To 720 On November 2

On November 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 23,393 over November 1 to 2,979,086, and the number of deaths increased by 720 over November 1 to 69,447; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 20.2%, and the number of new deaths rose by 2.9%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of November 2, a total of 2,979,086 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 69,447 deaths; 2,466,674 had recovered.

On November 2, a total of 23,393 new disease cases were recorded, 720 people died, and 11,937 people recovered.

Therefore, as of November 2, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (23,393 vs 11,937).

At the same time, on November 2, a total of 5,935 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 86.2% over November 1.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 1, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 19,455 over October 31 to 2,955,693, and the number of deaths increased by 700 over October 31 to 68,727; at the same time, the number of new cases increased by 39.6%, and the number of new deaths rose 2.3 times.

On October 31, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 13,936 over October 30 to 2,936,238, and the number of deaths increased by 298 over October 30 to 68,027; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 20%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 11.3%.
