Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 35.8% To 11,996, Number Of Deaths Up 1.7 Times To 352 On October 11

On October 11, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,996 over October 10 to 2,562,085, and the number of deaths increased by 352 over October 10 to 59,052; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 35.8%, and the number of new deaths rose 1.7 times.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 11, a total of 2,562,085 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 59,052 fatal cases; 2,297,889 had recovered.

On October 11, a total of 11,996 new disease cases were recorded, 352 people died, and 5,419 people recovered.

Therefore, as of October 11, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (11,996 vs 5,419).

At the same time, on October 11, a total of 2,274 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 17.7% over October 10.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,832 over October 9 to 2,550,089, and the number of deaths increased by 207 over October 9 to 58,700; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 22.1%, and the number of new deaths increased by 27.8%.

On October 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,344 over October 8 to 2,541,257, and the number of deaths increased by 162 over October 8 to 58,493; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 28.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 35%.
