Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 22.1% To 8,832, Number Of Deaths Up 27.8% To 207 On October 10

On October 10, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 8,832 over October 9 to 2,550,089, and the number of deaths increased by 207 over October 9 to 58,700; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 22.1%, and the number of new deaths increased by 27.8%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 11, a total of 2,550,089 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 58,700 fatal cases; 2,292,480 had recovered.

On October 10, a total of 8,832 new disease cases were recorded, 207 people died, and 2,053 people recovered.

Therefore, as of October 10, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (8,832 vs 2,053).

At the same time, on October 10, a total of 2,672 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 28% over October 9.

As Ukrainian News earlier reported, on October 9, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,344 over October 8 to 2,541,257, and the number of deaths increased by 162 over October 8 to 58,493; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 28.7%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 35%.

On October 8, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 15,908 over October 7 to 2,529,913, and the number of deaths increased by 250 over October 7 to 58,331; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 2.8%, and the number of new deaths increased by 3.7%.
