Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 20.2% To 15,125, Number Of Deaths Down 1.8% To 314 On October 6

On October 6, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 15,125 over October 5 to 2,497,643, and the number of deaths increased by 314 over October 5 to 57,840; at the same time, the number of new cases rose by 20.2%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 1.8%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 7, a total of 2,497,643 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 57,840 fatal cases; 2,277,762 had recovered.

On October 6, a total of 15,125 new disease cases were recorded, 314 people died, and 4,380 people recovered.

Therefore, as of October 6, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (15,125 vs 4,380).

At the same time, on October 6, a total of 3,541 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 5.5% over October 5.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 5, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 12,662 over October 4 to 2,482,518, and the number of deaths increased by 320 over October 4 to 57,526; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 28.6%, and the number of new deaths rose 0.9%.

On October 4, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 9,846 over October 3 to 2,469,856, and the number of deaths increased by 317 over October 3 to 57,206; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2 times, and the number of new deaths rose 2.8 times.
