Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Down 39.5% To 4,821, Number Of Deaths Down 9.5% To 114 On October 3

On October 3, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 4,821 over October 2 to 2,460,010, and the number of deaths increased by 114 over October 2 to 56,889; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 39.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 9.5%.

This follows from data of the Ministry of Health, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 4, a total of 2,460,010 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 56,889 fatal cases; 2,264,523 had recovered.

On October 3, a total of 4,821 new disease cases were recorded, 114 people died, and 1,116 people recovered.

Therefore, as of October 3, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (4,821 vs 1,116).

At the same time, on October 3, a total of 2,092 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 37.6% over October 2.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on October 2, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 7,967 over October 1 to 2,455,189, and the number of deaths increased by 126 over October 1 to 56,775; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 32.5%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 37.9%.

On October 1, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,809 over September 30 to 2,447,222, and the number of deaths increased by 203 over September 30 to 56,649; at the same time, the number of new cases fell by 1.8%, and the number of new deaths increased by 18%.
