Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 2.4% To 12,034, Number Of Deaths Down 11.3% To 172 On September 30

On September 30, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 12,034 over September 29 to 2,435,413, and the number of deaths increased by 172 over September 29 to 56,446; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.4%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 11.3%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of October 1, a total of 2,435,413 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 56,446 fatal cases; 2,258,455 had recovered.

On September 30, a total of 12,034 new disease cases were recorded, 172 people died, and 3,264 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 30, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (12,034 vs 3,264).

At the same time, on September 30, a total of 2,637 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, up 3.2% over September 29.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,757 over September 28 to 2,423,379, and the number of deaths increased by 194 over September 28 to 56,274; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 21.6%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 10.6%.

On September 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 9,666 over September 27 to 2,411,622, and the number of deaths increased by 217 over September 27 to 56,080; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 47.5%, and the number of new deaths increased by 51.7%.
