Number Of New Covid-19 Cases Up 21.6% To 11,757, Number Of Deaths Down 10.6% To 194 On September 29

On September 29, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 11,757 over September 28 to 2,423,379, and the number of deaths increased by 194 over September 28 to 56,274; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 21.6%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 10.6%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 30, a total of 2,423,379 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 56,274 fatal cases; 2,255,191 had recovered.

On September 29, a total of 11,757 new disease cases were recorded, 194 people died, and 3,839 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 29, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (11,757 vs 3,839).

At the same time, on September 29, a total of 2,556 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 10.5% over September 28.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 28, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 9,666 over September 27 to 2,411,622, and the number of deaths increased by 217 over September 27 to 56,080; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 47.5%, and the number of new deaths increased by 51.7%.

On September 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,552 over September 26 to 2,401,956, and the number of deaths increased by 143 over September 26 to 55,863; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.2 times, and the number of new deaths increased by 52.1%.
