Natural Gas Price In Europe Up 10.8% To USD 1,028.5 Per Thousand Cubic Meters

Between September 20 and 28, the natural gas price in Europe rose by 10.8% or USD 100.13 per thousand cubic meters to 1,028.46 per thousand cubic meters.

That follows from the data on results of the trading at the TTF hub of the ICE Futures exchange, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, on September 20, the natural gas price started to go down, and on September 23, it fell to USD 858.94 per thousand cubic meters.

However, on September 24, the natural gas price started to increase and on September 27, it reached USD 942.96 per thousand cubic meters.

As of 9:33 a.m., September 28, the natural gas price rose to USD 1,028.46 per thousand cubic meters.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian Gas Transport System Operator state-run enterprise states that Russia's gas monopoly Gazprom was artificially lowering the natural gas reserves in the underground gas storage facilities (USF) of Europe.
