On September 27, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 6,552 over September 26 to 2,401,956, and the number of deaths increased by 143 over September 26 to 55,863; at the same time, the number of new cases rose 2.2 times, and the number of new deaths increased by 52.1%.

The Ministry of Health has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

According to the report, as of the morning of September 27, a total of 2,401,956 laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 cases were registered in Ukraine; the number included 55,863 fatal cases; 2,248,071 had recovered.

On September 27, a total of 6,552 new disease cases were recorded, 143 people died, and 2,927 people recovered.

Therefore, as of September 27, the number of newly infected people was higher than that of those who recovered (6,552 vs 2,927).

At the same time, on September 27, a total of 1,288 coronavirus-infected people were hospitalized, down 13.8% over September 26.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on September 26, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 3,007 over September 25 to 2,395,404, and the number of deaths increased by 94 over September 25 to 55,720; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 35.3%, and the number of new deaths increased by 36.2%.

On September 25, the number of newly-registered Covid-19 cases in Ukraine rose by 4,647 over September 24 to 2,392,397, and the number of deaths increased by 69 over September 24 to 55,626; at the same time, the number of new cases decreased by 43.8%, and the number of new deaths decreased by 48.1%.
